Gone Missing

I've been off work now for 3 weeks and what crazy, hectic weeks they've been! We've managed to accomplish a lot in this short time and I'm definitely looking forward to the next few months.

The weather has been cooperating this summer which means we've been able to make some major changes outside, but more on that in the next post!

While mostly it's been a great time, one not so great thing happened to us just over a week ago. Usually, we put our 1997 Toyota Corolla wagon in the garage at night, but last Friday night we went to bed without checking. Lo and behold, the next morning we go to take it to the farmers market only to find the entire wheel missing and our car propped up on two bricks! Some funny joke alright. And only $180 later we were able to replace the tire (or tyre depending on your preference), the rim, hubcap and lug nuts. Not the best surpise we've ever had to say the least...

Anyway, I'm now on a new mission to convince Bruce we should buy a different car, one with an alarm. What do you think, will I have any luck convincing him this is the one??? I'd probably have a better time of it if we didn't have such itchy feet!
